This series is about diving deep into the natural world, shifting perspectives and chasing geometrical patterns. Lines, colours, shapes… All kinds of shapes. Abstract features that, when assembled together, become what we know as The Earth.
A repetition of patterns desregards scales. You move around your planet and you feel it. You can’t really understand it, but you certainly feel it. We are programmed to feel it, by randomness. Fractals cut through rocks, fluids and even life.
These images reflect pieces of our Earth. They connect intimately to the creatures we are in ways we can’t understand. Tiny pieces of life stuck at the surface of a floating sphere, programmed to feel all kinds of weird things so they can survive. That’s what we are: nothing but abstract figures.
