An immersion into the heart of the Nordic winter.
North of the Arctic Circle, fishermen’s cabins surrounded by sea and mountains witness the green glow of the Aurora Borealis.
Across Lapland, endless white forests stretch beyond the horizon. Snow-laden pines, bowed beneath the weight of winter, stand in silent vigil. Guardians of a profound northern wilderness, they assume extraordinary forms—living sculptures shaped by snow, wind, and time.
Icebound lakes and rivers carrying drifting blocks of ice define the landscape. Waterfalls locked in ice adorn rocky escarpments. The sun, forever low on the horizon, bathes the land in golden light and reveals every subtle contour of the terrain. Snow crystals shimmer beneath its glow.
By night, the Aurora Borealis takes center stage.
From the dramatic fjords of the Lofoten archipelago to the vast forests of Lapland, visions of untamed nature come together to define the very essence of winter.
- Aurora Borealis – Excellent Conditions
Solar activity in February 2027 will be considerably above the average of the past 50 years. In addition, throughout the entire journey we will remain within the ideal latitude range for observing the phenomenon. - Visual Experience
This journey is designed for anyone interested in visual experiences and photography. Participants interested solely in the visual experience are also welcome. Photography guidance and instruction will be offered according to each participant’s level and personal interest. - Winter Clothing
To ensure a comfortable and rewarding experience while exploring the Nordic outdoors, it is essential that we are properly equipped for the cold. We will provide all the necessary technical guidance. In Lapland, we will organize the rental of winter clothing and boots fully suited to the region. - Hiking
The trip includes some short hikes – up to 3km long. - Day-to-day Planning
